Winter Carnival 2009

We had to get to the Winter Carnival Parade early to get a spot. There were a lot of people in Mccall!
Gavin and I all bundled up!

Mom and Dad~ aren't they so cute!

Ashley and Thayne ( and baby)

Peyton and Thayne- The little girls thought they had to see the parade from above.

Hannah and Ashley
This was the coolest float! They made a dinosaur out of a back hoe that moved its neck and roared. Hannah LOVED IT!
Full body shot.
This horse was soooooo beautiful and VERY big!
The preschool made flower costumes and rode in the float. My friend's daughter was on this float.

We went to see the sculptures after the parade. This sculpture won first place. It was so cool!

This was a knight in front of the first place sculpture.

In the back was a king and queen. A great place for pictures!

Hannah went into a tower for a cute picture!

And there was a slide for the kids. This whole sculpture was soooo slick! A little girl slipped and fell and cut open her head and had a bloody mouth. We had to be really careful when walking around this on.

Behind Chapala's was a cool old fashion car that you could sit in.

This sculpture was HUGE! It was a huge tower with a forest around it. On each of the trees was a different face!

This was in front of the Mill. It had a dragon, castle, and wizard.

Frontier did a sculpture of a bear with glass fish jumping up stream.

Shore Lodge did a sculpture of a boat with waves.

And this is the famous Lake monster "Charlie". I couldn't get a full body shot, but the body looks like it is going in and out of the water.

Of course the hospital had to do a sculpture of veggies. It was actually cute.

It looks like you had lots of fun. I've always wanted to go see the sculptures but have yet to make the trip.
